Student Wellbeing
As a Catholic school, St Joseph’s College shares in the mission of the Catholic Church. Christ’s commandment, “to love one another as I have loved you” is the basis of all faith communities. Pastoral care gathers all the qualities and practices within a community that seek to make this commandment real.
Curriculum
Here at St Jospeh’s College our continuous improvement agenda facilitates an environment where students feel supported and encouraged to achieve their potential.
Our classrooms are designed to help students navigate their education in a world that is constantly evolving and the way the students are assessed reflects current best practice and meeting student needs.
Student Support
As per our Vision Statement, all students are valued and respected for their uniqueness and are encouraged and supported to grow as learners. Students with additional needs can seek a range of assistance in the Penola Centre, whilst the Yallawa Centre nurtures, promotes and supports all of the College’s Indigenous students.
Student Leadership
St Joseph’s aims to provide opportunities to develop and cultivate leadership qualities within all students. We aim to instil in students, a strong sense of social justice through the service of others.
